If you've already followed our troubleshooting guide but are still experiencing issues connecting social accounts, this article can help you resolve one specific error.
Error Message: Review Connection Issue
If you see this error after verifying that:

Facebook is properly connected under Instagram and
-
Instagram is properly connected under Facebook,
…but clicking Review Connection under Facebook still shows an error, it likely means:
The user trying to connect the account in Social Marketing > Connected Accounts is not an admin of the business’s Meta Business Account.
Without admin permissions, you cannot successfully authorize the connection.
Solution: Request Access to the Meta Business Account
To resolve this issue, you’ll need to request admin access to the Facebook Page via Meta Business Manager. Once granted, you’ll be able to connect and authenticate both the Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Steps to Request Access in Meta Business Manager

In the left menu, click Accounts > Pages.

Click the blue "Add" button.

Select "Request Access to a Page."

Enter the Facebook Page name or URL.

Use the toggles to choose the permissions you require.

Click "Request Access."
Next Steps
Once the request is submitted:

A Page admin or someone with Full Control of the Business Account will need to approve it.

After approval, the Page will be added to your Business Account.
You can then return to Social Marketing > Connected Accounts and successfully reconnect both Facebook and Instagram.
